Royal Enfield Bullet C5
Long-term Review
In December of 2010, we reviewed a Royal
Enfield G5 motorcycle. We liked so much that we purchased a similar
model, the Royal Enfield C5. In the coming months, we will let you know
how it runs and what it's like to live with on a day-to-day basis.

Helmets
It's April, tax day is fast approaching, and most of the snow is gone.
Every day I see more and more motorcycles and scooters on the road. We
know (believe me, we KNOW) how much you want to be back on two
wheels. We know how sick and tired you are of winter and how completely
ready you are for it to be riding season. We also know that you are at
increased risk when riding this time of year. You are out of practice and
need to give yourself some time to get your "motorcycle legs" back. The
other drivers on the road (the ones who are trying to kill you every
single day) are NOT used to seeing you on the road. That's not to say
they EVER pay attention to you, but it's particularly bad in the spring.
The roads are filled with potholes and covered with sand. Suffice to say
that a lot of things are conspiring against you in the early spring.
Wearing a good helmet is one of the simplest things you
can do you help protect yourself from potential injury when facing this
myriad of springtime dangers. CLICK HERE to jump to our

HCI
"Copter" Style Helmet Review
Jordana is back with us, this time sharing her thoughts on the HCI series
15 copter-style helmet. This is a fiberglass three-quarter helmet with an
integral visor of the pilot style (cut-out by the nose to allow for
breathing apparatus as used by pilots).

Several features of this website are not necessarily
associated with any single issue of Twin Cities Rider, but are here as
resources for you. Our calendar page features a
list of events in the Twin Cities area. The links
page includes lists of area dealers and
shops as well as
groups & clubs. If you just can't get enough
blather about motorcycles and scooters, check out the
Two-Wheels-And-A-Motor podcasts or the
Just-Gotta-Scoot podcasts. We have recently added a "Sales
Corner" for local readers looking to sell (or buy). It was
empty when I wrote this, so please let me know
if you have something you want to post there. Of course it goes without saying that we
desperately hope you will visit our
sponsors and give them a chance to earn your business.
Twin Cities Rider will be published (more or less)
monthly during the riding season and as appropriate during the winter. You

notification of new issues. Please CONTACT US if
you have any questions or comments.
